Who We Are

About our pastors: Mitch & Amber Lee

Shaped by life-changing encounters with Jesus, Mitch and Amber share a deep calling to cultivate transformational discipleship communities rooted in grace, prayer, and genuine relationship. For over 20 years they have worked to plant and revitalize churches and missional communities across Montana, the Pacific Northwest, and Colorado, walking alongside people from many backgrounds as they discover the life and hope found in Christ.

Mitch is a visionary leader who values collaboration and communicating the Word of God in a clear and concise manner. He has has equipped and encouraged leaders both locally and abroad, always with a heart for building healthy, connected communities. Amber brings strong pastoral and teaching gifts, especially among children, youth, and families, and is known for leading with clarity, compassion, and spiritual depth. Together, they empower others with both humility and attentiveness to the Holy Spirit, seeking to join God in the work He is already doing and inviting others into the transforming life and mission of Jesus.

Over the years, they have helped strengthen struggling congregations, develop disciple-making networks, and train leaders through regional, national, and international partnerships.

Now back home in Montana, Mitch and Amber are excited to serve local families and neighbors by cultivating a welcoming faith community rooted in Jesus, shaped by grace, and deeply connected to the rhythms of the valley.

Mitch and Amber live with their children on a micro farm.

CEDAR CHURCH is a Christ-centered discipling community rooted in Jesus and grounded in His presence.

Cedar trees have been culturally significant across the globe for thousands of years.
In Hebrew, the word for cedar comes from a root meaning firm, known for the firmness of roots.

We believe this reflects who we are called to be.

As a community, we are rooted and grounded in the Person and Presence of Jesus.
Our strength comes from the Lord.
Our lives are continually revitalized by His love and sacrifice.

In Scripture, cedar trees symbolize:

  • Strength and longevity
  • Divine blessing and spiritual growth
  • Flourishing righteousness
  • God’s enduring nature

Cedar wood was used in the construction of sacred spaces, reminding us that God invites His people to offer their very best for His glory.

Like the cedars, we desire to grow strong, stand firm, and flourish in God’s presence.
